Bokaro: ESL Steel Limited, a prominent integrated steel producer in India, is committed to the welfare of the communities it serves and has garnered recognition for its dedication to societal development. In alignment with the Prime Minister’s Poshan Abhiyaan, the company has launched a Millet-based Nutri-Shake Distribution Program at all 150 Nand Ghars in Jharkhand. This initiative, coinciding with Rashtriya Poshan Maah, aims to combat malnutrition in India. 
The program focuses on delivering nutritious millet shakes, rich in essential vitamins and minerals, to children, promoting their healthy growth. Over 10,000 millet protein shakes, manufactured by Millet Bowl, are being distributed to support the government’s mission to raise awareness about balanced nutrition.
These shakes, chocolate-flavored and FSSAI-certified, contain 23 essential vitamins and minerals and are designed to be dairy-free and easy to consume. The launch event featured talks on nutrition and health, with the participation of notable figures, including Meenakshi Sabharwal (CQO) and Kunal Daripa (Head CSR).
Kunal Daripa stated, “This program aligns with our goal to address childhood malnutrition, ensuring that children at Nand Ghars receive the nourishment they need.” The initiative reflects ESL Steel Limited’s commitment to community welfare and children’s health.
