Bokaro: The students of Pentecostal Assembly School celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week by taking a solemn oath against corruption, emphasising the core values of honesty, loyalty, and transparency. This initiative involved students, teachers, and staff, all pledging to uphold ethical standards and monitor public interactions effectively to combat corrupt practices.
The primary goal of Vigilance Awareness Week is to unite all stakeholders while educating students about the detrimental effects of corruption. The program encourages the adoption of moral values and fosters a culture of accountability and transparency. Throughout the week, various activities were conducted, including poster-making contests and an inter-school debate competition organised by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) at the HRD Main Auditorium, SAIL. Talented participants from multiple schools competed, with Pentecostal Assembly students achieving first and second places.
This significant event highlighted the importance of nurturing responsible citizens committed to a corruption-free society. Teachers also participated in the e-Shapat initiative, promoting good governance. Principal Karuna Prasad inspired students to pursue truthfulness and contribute to a corruption-free India, stating that the quest for happiness often leads to sorrow and emphasising their role in shaping a new, virtuous history.
