Bokaro: As part of Nutrition Month celebrations, Guru Gobind Singh Public (GGPS) School, Bokaro, organised an informative health session led by renowned gastrointestinal specialist Dr. Vijay Kumar. Addressing the students, Dr. Kumar explained the impact of gastrointestinal diseases on overall health. He emphasised that these conditions affect vital organs such as the stomach, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder – organs essential for the digestion of food. Common symptoms, including abdominal pain, bloating, gas, diarrhea, vomiting, indigestion, and loss of appetite, were discussed in detail. The session left a strong impression on the students, enhancing their awareness of digestive health.
