Bokaro: Sree Ayyappa Public School, Bokaro, celebrated its Investiture Ceremony 2025 with grandeur and dignity on Saturday, 23rd August. The event marked the formal induction of the newly appointed Student Council and Office Bearers, who pledged to uphold discipline, service, and responsibility in leading the institution.
Dignitaries Grace the Occasion
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Rajashree Banerjee, ED (HR), SAIL-BSL, and presided over by Chairman Sri P. Rajagopal. Principal Mrs. P. Shailaja Jayakumar, Vice-Principal Mr. P. Suresh Nair, and members of the School Management Committee joined the celebrations.
Ceremonial Proceedings with Discipline
The program commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest and a stirring Bugle Drill by the school band, followed by the Guard of Honour and Parade Reporting. The Principal delivered a warm welcome, after which office bearers received their designations and badges amidst loud applause.
Inspiring Messages for Young Leaders
In her address, Banerjee congratulated the students and shared a motivational story, emphasising accountability and teamwork in true leadership. The Chairman’s Rajagopal message further encouraged students to embrace humility, honesty, and courage as guiding values.
Oath of Service and Unity
The highlight was the Oath Taking Ceremony led by Head Boy Harshit Sundaram and Head Girl Anshika Yadav, where the council pledged loyalty and service. The Flag Offering Ritual symbolised the values of unity, while the Head Boy’s speech expressed gratitude and commitment to uphold school ethos.
Special Training on Inclusive Education
Adding value to the day, a CBSE In-house training on “Inclusive Education” was conducted by guest educators Mrs. Snigdha and Mrs. Kranti from GGPS, Sector-V, Bokaro.
