Bokaro: Sree Ayyappa Public School, Bokaro, transformed into a vibrant cultural haven as students, teachers, and parents came together to celebrate Chhath Puja, Dhanteras, and Diwali with devotion and enthusiasm. The entire campus gleamed with festive lights, colourful decorations, and an air of spiritual joy, symbolising India’s unity in diversity.
Chhath Ghat Recreated with Divine Authenticity
A key highlight of the celebration was the traditional Chhath Puja setup, complete with a serene pond surrounded by sugarcane, green grasses, and ritualistic decorations. Offerings of Thekua, seasonal fruits, and sacred articles adorned the space, while devotional songs dedicated to Chhathi Maiya echoed across the venue. The pious ambiance reflected deep reverence for cultural traditions and faith.
Dhanteras and Diwali Radiate Joy and Prosperity

Adding to the grandeur, the school showcased vibrant rangolis, paper lamps, and floral art. Beautiful idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi were installed in the Golu Puja pattern, symbolizing divine blessings of prosperity and wisdom. The festive décor captured the essence of light, happiness, and togetherness.
Inauguration of New Stage by Hon’ble Chairman
The event was inaugurated by Chairman P. Rajgopal, along with Committee Members including Saseendran Karat, Mohanan R. Nair, E. S. Suseelan, Balachandran, and Suresh Kumar K. A., Principal P. Shailaja Jaykumar, and Vice Principals P. Suresh Babu and Rajalakshmi. A newly constructed stage was also inaugurated, marking a proud moment in the school’s journey.
