Bokaro: Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro, recently hosted a vibrant cultural extravaganza to bid an emotional farewell to its outgoing Class XII batch of 2025-26. The ceremony, marked by a blend of nostalgia and grandeur, served as a platform for students to celebrate their journey and the cherished memories formed over the years.
A Kaleidoscopic Celebration
The festivities commenced with a symbolic sapling presentation, representing growth and the continuity of life. Following the tradition, students of Class XI and XII presented a series of kaleidoscopic performances. The afternoon was filled with a medley of songs, synchronised dance routines, and self-composed poetry. A standout orchestral performance further elevated the celebratory mood, making the event a momentous occasion for the faculty and students alike.
Voices of Gratitude
The emotional core of the evening was reached during the valedictory speeches. The Head Boys and Head Girls, representing the outgoing batch, expressed deep-seated gratitude toward their alma mater. They thanked the Principal, teachers, and peers, describing their time at the institution as a treasure chest of memories that would guide them in their future endeavours.

Crowning the Icons
The event also featured a competitive talent round where students showcased their confidence on the ramp. Following the ramp walk and the distribution of citations, the much-anticipated titles were announced.

Shivangi Mishra and Harshita Praneet were crowned Miss DPS, while Prishu Anand Dey and Mohit Kumar earned the title of Master DPS. In other categories, Varunditya Roy and Shruti Priya were named Master and Miss Style Icon, respectively. The Popular Choice awards went to Gargi Sharma and Ayush Suman, while the Versatile titles were bagged by Anushree Tripathy, Siddhishree, and Ishan Gaurav. The winners were felicitated with sashes as tokens of remembrance.
A Principal’s Guidance
Addressing the gathering, Principal A.S. Gangwar extended his best wishes to the students for their upcoming Board and competitive examinations. Emphasising the exam of life, Dr. Gangwar urged the students to maintain resilience and never give up in the face of adversity. He further advised them to remain grounded in gratitude toward their parents and teachers, acknowledging their selfless contribution to the students’ success.
