Bokaro: Marking National Science Day, the Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus (GGSESTC) organised the fifth edition of the Jharkhand Science and Innovative Technology Exhibition 2026 on Friday, bringing together over 150 students from technical institutions across the State. The event was held under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC).

Innovation-driven education
The exhibition was inaugurated by chairman Tarsem Singh and secretary Surender Pal Singh, who underscored the importance of scientific temper and innovation-driven education. Director Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar, in his address, announced the implementation of the Japanese 5S system on campus and informed that the institution had been granted an ISTE Student Chapter, with financial support from the management to facilitate student memberships.
Research-based concepts
Students presented working models and research-based concepts spanning engineering and applied sciences. Competitions included a hackathon, paper presentations, essay and slogan writing, a quiz, painting on Indian scientists, and a model display. Participants from Government Polytechnic institutions in Bokaro and Dumka also took part. The results will be declared and prizes distributed on March 3. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
