Bokaro: The Foundation Day programme of the Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas was organised at the auditorium of Displaced College, Baliadih, Bokaro, on Wednesday. The event highlighted the importance of value-based education, cultural awareness and effective implementation of the National Education Policy.

The programme began at 11:30 am with the welcome of guests through the presentation of bouquets and shawls. College Principal Dr Priya Kumari welcomed the dignitaries and presided over the programme.

The chief guest, Dr Priyadarshi Jaruhaar, Director of Guru Gobind Singh Technical Campus, attended the event along with special guest Dr Satyendra Kumar Sharma. Other dignitaries present included Shankar Swarnakar, Secretary of Ramkrishna Paramhans B.Ed College, and Sunil Kumar Yadav, Principal of ARS B.Ed College.
Focus on education, culture and new education policy
Bokaro district coordinator Dayal Kumar Ishwar presented an overview of the Education Culture Upliftment Trust, explaining its various projects, working departments, initiatives and developmental journey. He also shared details about the organisation’s objectives and contribution towards strengthening the education system.
Speaking on the occasion, Sunil Kumar Yadav and Shankar Swarnakar expressed their views on the role of educational institutions in promoting quality education and cultural values. Dr Satyendra Kumar Sharma also addressed the gathering and shared his thoughts on the importance of educational reforms.
Emphasis on NEP implementation
Chief guest Dr Priyadarshi Jaruhaar underlined the relevance and significance of the establishment of the Education Culture Upliftment Trust. He stressed the need for effective implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 and encouraged educators to work towards creating a holistic learning environment.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Ramnarayan Singh, followed by the National Anthem. The stage was conducted by Jag Narayan Singh.
Around 35 teachers and students of Displaced College, Baliadih, participated in the programme. The event reflected the institution’s commitment towards promoting education along with cultural and ethical values.
