The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of a lamp by the chief guest and the respected Principal of the school, Father Arun Minj, S.J. The Hindi medium students engaged the audience with a play highlighting the importance of water conservation, complemented by a traditional ‘Kunbi’ dance from Goa that showcased rural culture. The middle school students enchanted everyone with performances featuring famous dances from countries such as Japan, Korea, and Spain, bringing a global perspective to the evening’s celebrations. High school students introduced the audience to the rich traditions and culture of Rajasthan through their presentations of the Ghoomar and Kalbelia dances. As the evening progressed, the Plus Two students delivered a breathtaking performance inspired by the theme of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,’ uniting dances from various states in a celebration of India’s cultural heritage.
The event concluded with heartfelt closing remarks from Rishawn, followed by the singing of the national anthem, encapsulating the spirit of unity and respect that permeated the evening.
