The program commenced with a short film showcasing the contributions of G Madhavi Lata, a renowned geotechnical engineer and professor at IISc, Bangalore. Her critical role in the construction of the Chenab Bridge, alongside the personal and professional challenges she overcame, served as a powerful source of inspiration for all attendees.
