BJP-AJSU Alliance in Jharkhand: Sudesh Mahto vows to oust Hemant Soren Government

Sudesh Mahto, the supremo of the AJSU Party, has announced a significant political development in Jharkhand. After a crucial meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi, Mahto declared that the BJP and AJSU will contest the upcoming elections together.

He sharply criticised the current Hemant Soren government, labeling it the worst in the state’s history. According to Mahto, if this government is not removed, Jharkhand’s development will be severely jeopardised.

Focus on Development and Youth Empowerment
Following the announcement of the BJP-AJSU alliance, Sudesh Mahto stated that his primary goal is to improve the lives of the people, particularly focusing on youth employment, enhancing the living standards of the poor, and fulfilling the aspirations of students. Mahto is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi soon to discuss the alliance’s future strategy and vision for the state.

Seat-Sharing Details to Be Announced Later
When questioned about the seat-sharing arrangement between BJP and AJSU, Mahto remained tight-lipped, stating that the details have been finalised but will be disclosed at an appropriate time. He assured that there is complete harmony between the two parties regarding seat allocation, and they will make a joint announcement soon.

Mahto on JDU’s Potential Inclusion in NDA
Addressing speculations about the Janata Dal United (JDU) joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Mahto clarified that his discussions only pertained to the BJP-AJSU alliance. He refrained from commenting on the possibility of JDU joining the NDA, stating that it is a matter between BJP and JDU. Mahto reiterated that the primary objective of the BJP-AJSU alliance is to remove the current government and accelerate Jharkhand’s development.
