Bokaro : The city witnessed a vibrant display of imagination and artistic flair as DPS Bokaro organised ‘Sankalpana’, an art exhibition, on the final Open Day of the academic session 2025–26. The event highlighted the outcomes of the school’s Bagless Days initiative, offering a platform for students to present their creative pursuits. Principal Dr A.S. Gangwar inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of parents, whose participation added to the significance of the occasion.

Alongside academic updates shared with parents, the exhibition unfolded as a rich tapestry of colours, themes and innovation. Students presented an impressive array of artworks, ranging from traditional Mithila paintings to contemporary themes reflecting social realities, spirituality, nature and popular culture.
Adding depth to the showcase, teachers’ artworks were also displayed, drawing appreciation from visitors. The exhibition further underscored students’ versatility through craft and technology-based creations. Sustainable home décor items and sculptures made from paper pulp stood out, while robotic artworks displayed at the Composite Skill Lab stall attracted considerable interest among parents.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal commended the efforts of students and mentors. He also encouraged parents to support creative engagement among children in an increasingly digital environment and urged the school to continue organising such innovative platforms.
