CBSE: Bokaro begins a new round of training on Monday for 2000 teachers from 39 schools


Bokaro: During the month of January and February, Dr. Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex in Bokaro will be conducting 29 in-house online teachers training for teachers as per CBSE requirements of 25 mandatory sessions.

Over 2000 teachers from 39 schools of the Bokaro region will participate in the training starting on Monday (January, 3) through the Microsoft Teams application from 3.30 to 4.30 pm. Neeraj Kumar of DPS Sector-4 will begin the session with a lecture on “Constructivism”.

This is a capacity-building training for teachers in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP)-2021. CBSE District Training Coordinator Fr Reji C. Varghese and CBSE Dy Training Coordinator Sr Kamala Paul Bihari have provided this information. The Principal of DPS and President of the Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex of Bokaro, A S Gangwar expressed his happiness and wished the training a great success.

Formation and Objectives of Sahodaya School Complex

Sahodaya Schools complexes was first mooted by the Education Commission,1966. It was the National policy on Education, 1966 which reiterated in strong words the need for promoting school complexes for meeting the quality of education. This set the tone for bringing the schools together and networking them for healthy interaction among themselves.

“Sahodaya” signifies rising together, it identified six areas, to begin with, for collaboration amongst schools of its complex:

 1. Educative Management 4. Professional Growth of Teachers
 2. Evaluation 5. Value-Oriented School Climate
 3  Human Resource Mobilization 6. Vocationalisation of Education.
