Bokaro: CBSE Patna region organized a one-day training session at M.G.M Higher Secondary School, Sector 4, to enhance teachers’ capacity and introduce them to modern techniques. The session, focusing on learning outcomes and pedagogy, was led by resource persons Shiv Shankar Yadav, Principal of BSL School, and Abhishek Kumar, Principal of Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Chas.
The event commenced with a prayer, followed by a welcome speech from Father Dr. Joshi Varghese, Principal of M.G.M School. He emphasised the importance of continuous learning for teachers, encouraging them to adopt new teaching methods to better educate students. Around 60 teachers from M.G.M and Guru Gobind Singh Public School participated in the training.
In the first session, Shiv Shankar Yadav introduced various aspects of pedagogy and engaged the teachers in a quiz competition. The second session, led by Abhishek Kumar, focused on teaching methodologies and addressing student inquiries after lessons. Special attention was given to understanding the learning outcomes of students. Teachers were encouraged to participate in creative tasks, such as presenting through drama and poetry, to make the learning experience more engaging for their students.
