Bokaro: Nitika Navya, a former student of DPS, Bokaro, has showcased her academic prowess by excelling in the highly competitive AIIMS all-India medical entrance exam, scoring an impressive 99.569 percentile. The All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) released the results of the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) on May 25. This milestone has opened doors for Nitika Navya to pursue her medical education in renowned institutions such as AIIMS Delhi, PGI Chandigarh, NIHMANS, SCTIMST, and other esteemed establishments across the country.
Aspirations and Ambitions
Securing an All India Rank (AIR) of 359, Navya harbors aspirations of specialising in MD/MS programs, with a focus on radiology, cardiac thoracic surgery, pediatrics, or dermatology, in one of these prestigious institutes.
“Her dream to study MD/MS in any of these prestigious central institutions gets fulfilled,” expressed Dr. Anju Parira, Navya’s mother and the owner of Mother Care Private Hospital. “After counseling, she will be able to choose her desired branch. It was a moment of immense pride for us,” she added.

Dr. Anju Parira, is a renowned gynecologist in Bokaro, and Dr. Sujit Parira, works as general manager in the Public Health Department of SAIL’s Bokaro Steel Plant. Dr. Sujit Parira attributed Navya’s success to her diligence, dedication, and unwavering determination.
“Her hard work, passion, and determination have led to this success,” said Dr. Sujit Parira. “We are thrilled and relieved by her excellent performance in the INI CET,” he added. Despite Navya’s decision to pursue the NEET-PG exam, her impressive score in the INI CET has brought immense joy to her family.
Academic Excellence from the Start
Navya’s journey of academic excellence began in her formative years. As a resident of Sector 4-C, she excelled in her studies, achieving a perfect 10 CGPA in the Class X Board exams. In her Class 12 exams, she continued to shine, securing an outstanding score of about 97%. Navya’s consistent dedication to her studies culminated in her success in cracking the NEET-UG exam in 2017. She completed her MBBS from RIMS, Ranchi.
Inspiration and Support from Siblings Navya’s younger brother, studying computer science at BITS Pilani, expressed admiration for his sister’s dedication and commitment. “She has always been dedicated to her studies, brimming with motivation and enthusiasm,” he said. “Witnessing her achieve such remarkable heights is truly inspiring,” he added.
