Bokaro: In recognition of their outstanding contributions in the field of education, Dr. Sarita Gangwar, Headmistress of Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro and senior Primary Wing teacher Piya Rani Sen were conferred with the prestigious Gargi Manju Teacher Award 2024.
The educators were honoured during a state-level ceremony held at Tender Heart School, Ranchi, by Jharkhand’s Advocate General Rajeev Ranjan, Inspector General of Police for South Chotanagpur Akhilesh Kumar Jha, former Vice Chancellor of Central University B.P. Sinha and the Chairman of Tender Heart School, Sudhir Tiwari.
The ceremony was organised in memory of Tender Heart School’s founder, Gargi Manju. Around 225 teachers from 110 schools across Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, and West Bengal were felicitated in this prestigious award ceremony. The awardees were presented with Rs.11,000 in cash, a memento, a certificate of appreciation and a medal.
Expressing delight at the achievements of the teachers, the Principal of DPS Bokaro, Dr. A.S. Gangwar congratulated them and extended his best wishes. He encouraged them to continue the pursuit of imparting quality education in shaping the future generation.
