Bokaro: Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro organised its ‘Honouring Excellence Award Ceremony 2025’ on Wednesday at the school campus. A total of 144 students were awarded for their academic performance and mathematical aptitude. The programme was graced by Rajashree Banerjee, Executive Director (HR), Bokaro Steel Plant and Pro-Vice Chairman, Board of Management, DPS Bokaro, as the Chief Guest.
Aryabhatta Mathematics Competition Awards
Fifty-seven students from Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha were felicitated for winning the Aryabhatta Mathematics Competition (AMC), an annual event hosted by DPS Bokaro since 1988. This year more than 1,800 students participated, making it one of the largest inter-school competitions. The winners received certificates, trophies, mementos and cash prizes.
Achievers’ Badges for Academic Excellence
Eighty-seven students promoted from Class V to VI in the session 2024–25 were honoured with Achievers’ badges and certificates for their academic achievements.
Chief Guest and Principal’s Address
Chief Guest Rajashree Banerjee congratulated the winners and urged them to integrate human values with education. Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar encouraged students to stay positive and continue striving for excellence.
Cultural Presentations Mark Event
The programme began with the ceremonial lamp-lighting, followed by cultural performances. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
