Bokaro: In an effort to educate and empower students in the face of digital threats, DPS Bokaro hosted a comprehensive workshop titled “Cybercrime – A Review of the Evidence, How Police Investigates.” at its school campus.
The workshop featured renowned cyber security expert and digital intelligence consultant, Deepak Kumar, from Delhi, who emphasized the need for cyber security awareness in today’s digital age.
Deepak Kumar, during his presentation, shared real-life examples of how young individuals can be lured into cyber traps. He shed light on the diverse world of cybercrime, discussing its various forms, impact and preventive measures. Students were introduced to concepts such as cyber bullying and online frauds.
The cyber security expert stressed the importance of strong password creation, regular software updates, and responsible online behaviour to safeguard one’s digital identity. These insights equipped students with the tools to protect themselves online.
Dr. A. S. Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro expressed the necessity of providing young minds with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital landscape safely.
