Bokaro: Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro has achieved another milestone by receiving the prestigious 7-Star Rating Award as a leading Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) school in the country. The recognition was conferred by the Centre for Educational Development (CED) Foundation, affiliated with NITI Aayog and the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, at a programme held in New Delhi.

The honour acknowledges the school’s continuous efforts in effectively implementing Sustainable Development Goals at the institutional level. DPS Bokaro has integrated sustainability into its educational framework by encouraging conservation of natural resources, promoting energy-efficient practices, inclusivity and environmental awareness among students.
The institution had also received the SDG School Award last year for its commitment to eco-friendly initiatives. Recently, Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar was honoured with the Best Principal Award by the National EduTrust of India for his leadership in promoting environmental management and innovative educational practices.

Dr. Gangwar credited the achievement to the collective efforts of students, teachers, parents and the entire DPS Bokaro fraternity.
