The inspiration behind this initiative stems from the profound belief of Sri Swami Chinmayanand Saraswati, the founder of Chinmaya Mission, in the potential of India’s youth as the true guides and soldiers of the nation. Emphasising that the youth are “not useless but used less,” the three-day camp seeks to empower participants from classes 9th to 12th and graduates.
Notably, the camp will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages to cater to a diverse audience.
The inauguration of the Chinmaya Yuva Kendra Camp’s website took place at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro officiated by the Swami Saraswati Sanyuktanand Saraswati. Registration is now open, with an expected participation of around 200 youth from Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, and Assam.
Highlighting the importance of guiding the energetic young generation towards constructive paths, the organisers aim to channel their energy, strength, and wisdom for social welfare and patriotism.
The Chinmaya Youth Center plays a pivotal role in fostering the character, mental, physical, and spiritual development of the youth, with a focus on their active participation in the country’s progress.
The camp will feature sessions led by renowned figures such as Swami Avyananda Saraswati and Dr. Radhakrishnan Pillai, Deputy Director of Chanakya International Institute of Leadership Studies and author of the best-selling book “Corporate Chanakya.” Dr. Pillai’s wealth of experience and accolades adds an enriching dimension to the camp’s objectives.
