Bokaro: The Central Bank of India’s Regional Office in Dhanbad held an MSME Credit Outreach Program on Saturday at the BIADA auditorium in Bokaro, drawing strong participation from entrepreneurs across the BIADA industrial area and Bokaro city. The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the bank’s financial schemes and simplify access to credit for budding and established entrepreneurs.
Regional Deputy Director of BIADA, Bokaro Region, Manoj Kumar, attended the programme as the chief guest. He stressed that timely financial assistance plays a crucial role in the success of micro, small and medium enterprises and described the outreach program as an important step toward strengthening the region’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. The event was presided over by Central Bank’s Regional Head, Vivek Kumar Pandey, while ADO Sunny Singh was also present.
Addressing the gathering, Pandey explained various loan schemes, government subsidies, and documentation requirements, assuring entrepreneurs that the bank is committed to providing accessible and timely financial support. During the programme, approval letters were distributed to eligible entrepreneurs. In-principle loan approvals worth Rs 17.50 crore were sanctioned on the spot, giving a significant boost to local businesses.
Senior officials, including Chief Managers Y. D. Mishra and Chaudhary Jai Prakash, along with branch managers from Chas, Sector-4, and MGM branches, resolved queries and guided participants. The outreach programme aims to expand opportunities for MSMEs and promote economic growth in the district.
