From Bokaro to the IITs: Students shine bright in JEE Advanced 2025


Bokaro: In a remarkable academic feat, students from premier schools of Bokaro — Delhi Public School (DPS) , Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Guru Gobind Singh Public School (GGPS) — have delivered an outstanding performance in the JEE Advanced 2025 examination. Over 45 students from both institutions have successfully qualified for admission into India’s most prestigious engineering institutes – the IITs – marking a proud moment for the city.

At DPS Bokaro, more than 30 students qualified the examination with exceptional ranks. Leading the pack is Arush Banerjee, who secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 2020, becoming the school topper. Close behind were Mrityunjay Kumar with Category Rank 2393, and Prince Kumar Pandey with AIR 2768. Other commendable performers include Ritesh Kumar Mahato (CR 3679), Harshvardhan (CR 3804), Amrit Raj (CR 6087), Abhineet Sharan (AIR 9052), and Ashish Kumar (AIR 10203).

In addition, several more DPS students such as Manish Kumar, Apurva Jha, Abhay Shankar Singh, Sadique Quamar, Anup Jha, Utkarsh Raj, Aryan Kumar, Mayank Raj, and others have also cleared the exam, with a few results still awaited.

Meanwhile, Chinmaya Vidyalaya students too showcased stellar results. Sixteen students have cleared the JEE Advanced, with Nilesh Kumar securing AIR 4651 in the general category and Mayank achieving an outstanding 210th rank in the SC category. The list of successful candidates also includes Mayank Kumar, Atin Gaurav, Ashwin Kumar, Rohit Rai, Prakrit Prasun, Narayan Rai, Priyanshu Raj, Alok Raj, Satyam Soni, Abhay Mallick, Rishi Raj, Pushkar Sinha, Mayuresh Bharti, and others.

Guru Gobind Singh Public School Excels in JEE Advanced 2025

Students of Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Sector-V/B, Bokaro Steel City, delivered good results in JEE Advanced 2025. Prashant secured Category Rank 7255, Ronak Raj 29730, and Siddhant Shekhar 33391. The principal Somen Chakrabkrty congratulated the achievers and wished them success in their future endeavors, bringing pride to the institution.

DPS Principal Dr. A.S. Gangwar congratulated the students, stating, “These results reflect the consistent efforts of students, teachers, and parents. It’s a moment of immense pride for the entire DPS Bokaro family.”

Chinmaya Vidyalaya management also expressed delight, saying, “JEE Advanced is one of the toughest exams in the world, and our students have proved their mettle. Their success is proof of hard work and brilliance.”

With this incredible performance, both schools have once again cemented their reputation as centers of academic excellence in Jharkhand.
