AI-powered farming innovation earns GGPS Bokaro a place at the national level; school celebrates proud achievement.
Bokaro: Guru Gobind Singh Public School (GGPS), Sector V/B, Bokaro Steel City, has once again made the city proud with its remarkable performance at the CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2025–26, held at Sarala Birla Public School, Mahilong, Ranchi, on November 11 and 12, 2025. Among 144 participating schools from across Jharkhand, GGPS Bokaro clinched the first position and qualified for the national round.
Innovative Project on Sustainable Agriculture
The winning project, titled “AI Powered Farming Technology Using Electric Fence,” was based on the theme Sustainable Agriculture. It showcased how artificial intelligence can revolutionize farm safety and productivity through smart technology. The innovative model was designed and presented by Shubham Kumar Singh and Piyush Kumar, both students of Class 12, under the mentorship of S. Chatterjee and escort teacher Ravi Shankar. Team members Anubhav Vishwakarma, Anushka Singh, Prachi Naveen Choudhary, and Ritesh Kumar also contributed significantly to the project’s success.

Principal Mr. Abhishek Kumar lauded the students’ achievement, saying,
“Shubham and Piyush have proved that the fusion of knowledge, research, and innovation defines true education. Their success is a moment of pride not just for the school, but for the entire state of Jharkhand.”
