GGSESTC Bokaro students excel in National NPTEL Examination


Bokaro: Shriram Pandit and Baldev Kushwaha, students from Guru Gobind Singh Educational Societies Technical Campus (GGSESTC) in Bokaro, have excelled in the National Programme for Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) examination, conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and seven IITs. Shriram achieved an impressive 81% in the “Fundamentals of Manufacturing Process” exam, placing him in the top 5% of candidates. He also ranked in the top 10% for the “Applied Thermodynamics” exam.

Baldev Kushwaha’s Outstanding Achievement

Baldev Kushwaha also secured 81%, earning his place among the top 5% of successful candidates. Both students are employees of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) and are pursuing a B.Tech for Working Professionals course, which is AICTE-approved and affiliated with Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), Ranchi.

Faculty Support Played a Key Role

College Director Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar highlighted that a total of 39 students cleared the NPTEL examination. Professors Mahmood Alam, Manoj Kumar, and Sumeet Pandey played a vital role in mentoring the students. The students expressed their gratitude to the faculty and the college for their guidance and support.

College Congratulates Achievers

The institution’s president, Tarsem Singh, and secretary, Surendra Pal Singh, congratulated the toppers and wished them great success in their future endeavors.
