Bokaro: Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus (GGSESTC), Kandra, Chas, Bokaro, will host the prestigious “ISTE Section Faculty Convention 2025” from October 31 to November 1, 2025. The two-day convention focuses on the theme “Recent Trends in Science, Technology & Management.”
Regional Platform for Academic Collaboration
Organised under the auspices of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Bihar and Jharkhand Section, the event aims to connect educators, researchers, and technical experts with the latest technological advancements and educational innovations. The primary objective is to strengthen collaboration in education and research across the region.
About the Host Institution
GGSESTC, the host institution, is an AICTE-approved establishment affiliated with Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), Ranchi. The campus holds NAAC accreditation with B++ grade, establishing itself as a fifth-generation engineering college committed to excellence and innovation in technical education.
Key Objectives and Vision
College Director Prof. (Dr.) Priyadarshi Jaruhar, serving as principal convener, emphasized that the convention will provide an effective platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange in teaching and research. “Such events offer faculty members new directions in innovation, technological development, and industry-education coordination,” he stated.
Awards and Recognition Ceremony
The convention will feature a highlight ceremony where Dr. S.M. Ali, Executive Secretary of ISTE from New Delhi, and Dr. M.K. Jha, Principal of MIT, will present the “Best Faculty Award” to 21 distinguished faculty members from Jharkhand and Bihar, recognising their outstanding contributions to technical education.
Research Publication Launch
A book compiling 31 research papers will be launched during the event, showcasing scholarly contributions from faculty making significant impacts in technical education and research. This publication represents the collective academic excellence of the region’s educators.

Faculty members, researchers, and industry experts from various colleges across Bihar and Jharkhand are expected to participate.
