Bokaro: Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus College, (GGSESTC) has officially commenced its 21-day ‘Induction Programme’ for the new B.Tech. and M.B.A. students. The opening day also featured the college’s celebration of ‘Anti-Ragging Day,’ reinforcing its commitment to a harassment-free environment.
During the event, College Director Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar welcomed the incoming students and elaborated on the college’s core values aimed at fostering a motivated and high-performing student body. Dr. Jaruhar highlighted the institution’s focus on holistic development through various initiatives, including science exhibitions, conferences, workshops, sports, cultural activities, and community service programs like N.S.S. and Green Army.
He reassured students and parents of the campus’s zero-tolerance policy toward ragging, supported by a multi-level monitoring system. MBA department head Prof. Vikas Jain extended a warm welcome to the students. BBA student Sahiba Akram administered the anti-ragging oath and led the ceremony.
A video showcasing the college campus was screened, followed by remarks of gratitude from Prof. Kritika Chaudhary. The program concluded with the national anthem.
Dr. Manojit Day coordinated the ‘Sankalp’ program, with contributions from Dr. A.P. Barnwal, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Verma, Prof. Md. Hussain, Mr. Anil Singh, and others. Institute President Mr. Tarsem Singh and Secretary Mr. Surendra Pal Singh also welcomed the new students and offered their congratulations.
