The Pentecostal Assembly School organised a Hindi debate competition on Wednesday, which saw the participation of students from classes IX and X. The topic of the debate was “The power of hard work in changing one’s luck,” and students presented arguments both in favor of and against the topic.
The competition was successfully conducted in the presence of school Principal, Dr. Karuna Prasad, along with the teachers and students from classes IX and X. It was evident that while some students advocated for the merits of hard work, others managed to convincingly argue against it. The competition had a jury comprising Dr. Sharda Rani, Mrs. Sunita Roy, and Ms. Pooja Kumari.
After carefully listening to all the speakers, the jury members found it challenging to make a decision. Each participant made sincere efforts to substantiate their viewpoint with logical reasoning. Some glorified the role of luck, while others emphasized the significance of hard work and dedication. However, the opposition speakers emerged victorious.
On this occasion, Karuna Prasad, the school’s Principal, commended all the participants and emphasised that the youth of today are the future and must be prepared to face the forthcoming challenges in life. She encouraged them to rely on the weapon of hard work, stating that this competition would serve as a milestone in that direction.
