Bokaro: Sree Ayyappa Public School hosted its Annual Sports Day on Friday with great enthusiasm. Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the event. Addressing students, teachers and guests, he delivered an inspiring message focused on life, goals and nation-building.
In his address, the Deputy Commissioner emphasised that sports teach discipline, patience and perseverance. He reminded the students that success and failure are both integral parts of life. Instead of fearing failure, he encouraged them to treat it as a stepping stone to success, while maintaining hard work, a positive mindset and confidence. See Video-

Calling the students the “strength and future of the nation,” DC Jha urged them to stay committed to shaping India’s growth. He said that even after 78 years of independence, much remains to be achieved. “The entire world is looking towards India with hope. We must raise the nation’s flag high and make our school, our district and our country proud.” He encouraged students to grow into responsible citizens who actively contribute to national development.
Speaking directly to girl students, the DC delivered a powerful message on self-respect and independence. He urged them to stand up for their rights, dreams and dignity, reminding them that they are fully capable and strong. He encouraged parents to raise daughters who are independent, confident and empowered.
The Deputy Commissioner praised the school management and teachers for offering holistic development opportunities to students. He advised children to understand and uphold the core values of their institution. The event was attended by Vice President Shashindran Karat, Board Member Suresh Kumar, Principal P. Shailaja Jay Kumar along with several other dignitaries.
