Bokaro district is abuzz as it hosts two examination centers for the country’s most prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Scheduled from January 24 to February 01, 2024, this crucial examination determines admission to top engineering institutes.

The designated examination centers, RR Technology in Nawadih Murtitanand, Chas, and Dr. S. Alpha ICT Center in Chiksia, are poised to welcome a total of 3512 candidates. Dr. A. S. Gangwar, City Coordinator of NTA and Principal of DPS Bokaro, assured that all necessary preparations have been diligently completed to ensure a smooth and malpractice-free examination process.
The examination kickstarts on January 24 at RR Technology, accommodating 97 candidates in the second shift. Subsequently, the schedule unfolds center-wise, with specific student counts for each day and shift. At the Alpha ICT Centre, the examination begins on January 27, hosting 219 candidates in the first shift and 220 in the second, followed by similar counts on subsequent days until February 01.
The daily sessions, from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon for the first shift and 03.00 pm to 06.00 pm for the second, aim to provide a conducive and trouble-free environment for candidates. Dr. Gangwar emphasized that meticulous arrangements have been made to ensure the peaceful conduct of the examination, with a keen focus on maintaining an atmosphere devoid of any challenges for the aspirants.
The JEE Main, offering papers for engineering and B.Arch./B.Planning courses, plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of aspiring engineers. As the examination unfolds in Bokaro, candidates are reminded to adhere to all necessary guidelines for a successful and fair evaluation. The second session of JEE Main is scheduled for April 01 to April 15, 2024.
