MGM Bokaro dominates CBSE Judo Championship with 49 Medals


Bokaro: MGM Higher Secondary School, Bokaro, achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the overall champion at the CBSE East Zone Judo Championship held from July 10 to 14 at Amneev Vision School, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. The school’s judo team put forth an exceptional performance, collecting 16 gold, 15 silver, and 18 bronze medals, securing a total of 241 points to bag the overall championship trophy. Star Performers Shine Bright 
Principal Father Dr. Joshi Varghese applauded the students’ extraordinary efforts, naming standout gold medalists such as Gaurav Kumar, Saksham Singh, Anshu Kumar, Satyam Keshri, Ayush Patel, Rajveer Singh, Ritika Sharma, and several others. Silver medalists included Parth Narayan, Aman Kumar, Suryakant, and Sakshi Kumari, while bronze medals went to participants like Ansh Ranjan, Lakshita Rani, and Shruti Shri.

National Qualification and Felicitation  
With this achievement, 31 players from the school qualified for the CBSE National Judo Championship. Their success was credited to the expert guidance of coach Rajeev Kumar Singh and team manager Reema Kumari. The school management felicitated all winning participants for their contributions.
