Bokaro: MGM Higher Secondary School, Bokaro Steel City, came alive with spirit and pride as it hosted the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025–26 on July 12. This much-awaited event celebrated the induction of newly elected student leaders, emphasising leadership, commitment, and school values.
Dignitaries Add Prestige to the Occasion
The event was graced by Chief Guest Ravindra Kumar Meel, Commandant, CISF, and Guest of Honour Rakesh Kumar Singh, CGM (MM), BSL. Their presence, along with School Managing Committee members and Principal Fr. Joshi Varghese, added significance to the solemn gathering.
Inspiring Words and Ceremonial Beginnings
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a stirring performance by the Senior Choir. Principal Fr. Varghese urged students to master self-leadership, stressing values and humility over titles.
Primary Wing Shines Bright
The Primary Wing’s lively dance, “Twist and Twirls,” marked the investiture of junior leaders. Aloha Chandon and Arnav Sharma were installed as Head Girl and Head Boy. Their confident presence reflected the dedication of Headmistress Mrs. Sapna Joshi.
A Dramatic Take on Democracy
The Senior Wing presented a unique dramatised performance, “Let’s Rejoice,” depicting the Head Boy and Head Girl campaign. The creative blend of dance and drama was a first for MGM, receiving high praise.
Senior Leaders Step Forward
Aaron Simon and Anshika Singhania were sworn in as Head Boy and Head Girl, joined by a full council including deputies, ministers, and house captains—all committed to serving with courage and integrity.
Words of Encouragement and Final Tributes
The Chief Guest praised the school’s planning and inspired students to lead with conviction. Vice Principal Rakhi Banerjee thanked all contributors, especially coordinators Sangeeta Mishra and Sangeeta Singh.

The ceremony concluded with the MGM Anthem and the National Anthem, echoing a renewed sense of pride. It stood as a powerful reminder of MGM’s enduring mission—where promise truly meets purpose.
