Bokaro: A Performance Improvement Workshop (PIW) focused on the “Mission 90,000 tons per month rolling” for the PLTCM line of CRM-III was organised today at the Knowledge Acquisition and Development Centre under the Human Resource Department.
A total of 39 participants from CRM-III, CRM-I & II, HRCF, Hot Strip Mill, I&A, ETL, and RCL departments took part in the workshop, aimed at identifying challenges and improving performance to meet the ambitious rolling target.
Leadership Participation and Inauguration
The workshop witnessed the presence of several senior officials. Chief Guest Mr. Sharad Gupta, Chief General Manager (Maintenance), along with Mr. Rajesh Kumar Jha, CGM (CRM-III), Mr. B.N. Tripathi, GM-in-charge (CRM-III), Mr. B.K. Mohanty, GM (CRM-III), Ms. Meenam Mishra, GM (HR & Training), and Mr. S.K. Bhagat, GM (Learning & Development) attended the session. The program began with a welcome by Meenam Mishra, followed by an overview of the workshop shared by Mr. J.N. Yadav, Manager (Learning & Development).
Call for Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
In his address, Sharad Gupta underlined the workshop’s importance and urged all participants to make the most of the learning opportunity. Other senior officers encouraged making the session interactive and using the acquired knowledge to contribute towards achieving the 90,000 TPA rolling milestone.
Technical Discussion and Action Planning
Senior Managers A. Vats and D. Majumdar facilitated detailed discussions with participants on the obstacles and solutions related to achieving the target. Their action plan highlighted strategies for enhanced performance.
The workshop was successfully coordinated with the support of S.K.D. Bhowmik, Rakesh Kumar, Kaushlendra Pratap Singh, and Arjun Bauri from the Learning & Development department.
