Bokaro : Delhi Public School, Bokaro’s Primary Wing organised a special Parent–Child Bonding activity on Tuesday under the CBSE initiative of ‘Parenting Calendar’ and in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to strengthen parent-school collaboration and enhance student development by engaging parents.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation as parents and their children joined hands in various fun-filled activities like sandwich making, flower decoration, rangoli creation and salad decoration.

The vibrant atmosphere reflected the excitement of the children and the wholehearted involvement of their parents. Each activity not only showcased creativity but also strengthened the emotional bond between the parent and the child.
It was indeed a wonderful experience where learning went hand in hand with fun and the bond of love and trust between the parent and the child was celebrated. The activity left behind cherished memories with a belief that such collaborative opportunities nurture both creativity and strong relationships. The students and parents were felicitated for their outstanding performances.
The Principal Dr.A.S.Gangwar expressed that such activities are a stepping stone in nurturing students’ academic, emotional and social growth in today’s fast paced world. “Schools play a pivotal role in creating a bond between parents and children which has become the need of the hour to build ethical and value-based citizens for the future”, he stressed.
