Poetic extravaganza at Pentecostal Assembly School: A Celebration of Young Talent


Bokaro: A captivating Kavi Sammelan was held at Pentecostal Assembly School’s assembly hall under the guidance of Principal Karuna Prasad. The event showcased the poetic talents of ten students from classes 11 and 12, each delivering evocative recitations.

Teacher Dr. Sharda Rani extended a warm welcome to the guests, while students Jyoti and Arjan expertly managed the stage. The distinguished panel of judges included renowned educationist and poet Asha Pushp, along with teachers Vibha Sinha and Sunita Roy.

The competition was judged based on thematic relevance, delivery, natural flow, pronunciation, and expression. The students exhibited remarkable enthusiasm, enchanting the audience with poems reflecting themes of bravery, compassion, affection, humor, and more. Their verses ranged from tributes to parental love to patriotic sacrifices and advocacy for women’s rights.

Dr. Asha Pushp highlighted the importance of such events in alleviating stress and promoting creativity, emphasizing that poetry offers a glimpse into the imaginative realm of the poet. Principal Karuna Prasad echoed this sentiment, stressing the need for such competitions to foster literary interest and cultural engagement among students.

The event concluded with award presentations by Karuna Prasad, celebrating the exceptional performances of the young poets. The program was attended by all students and teachers of classes 11 and 12, marking a successful celebration of poetic artistry.
