Results of CBSE 12th 2021: More than 700 students scored above 90 percent in eight Bokaro schools


Bokaro: At least 700 students of eight prominent schools of the district scored 90 and above percent marks in Class XII Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The result announced on Friday brought happiness to students, teachers and parents. The students of two educational institutions- Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro and Pentecostal Assembly School- have performed exemplary well.

Varun Tandon of Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro becomes the topper bagging 99.20 percent marks in Science stream. Meanwhile, Nandita Kumari of Pentecostal Assembly School topped the district in Arts stream achieving 99.2 percent marks. In the commerce stream, Mayank Kumar of Pentecostal Assembly School scored 98.6 percent marks.

Delhi Public School, Bokaro

Of the three top rankers in district, one is of DPS and two belong to Pentecostal. The overall result of the schools are also magnificent. As per the press releases, 78 students of DPS, Bokaro scored above 95 percent marks while 240 students secured above 90 percent marks. Khushi Dalmia of the commerce section scored 97.8 percent. Principal, DPS Bokaro, A. S. Gangwar said “despite online classes, our students have done well”.

Similarly, 43 students of Pentecostal Assembly School scored above 95 percent while 91 students obtained 90 percent and above marks. The two students Nandini Nischal and Priya Kumari scored 98.2 percent in science stream in Pentecostal. “Success will never lower its standard to accommodate us, we need to raise our hand to achieve it,” said principal, Karuna Prasad, who is elated with the performance.

Pentecostal Assembly School

The overall performance of the students of Guru Gobind Singh Public School (GGPS) is also wonderful. As many as 35 students of GGPS scored above 95 percent while 102 students obtained above 90 percent. Soumayajeet Gupta Choudhary scored the highest 98.4 percent in science stream in the school, followed by Shreya Agarwal obtaining 97.2 percent in commerce stream.

More than 25 students of Sree Ayyappa Public School scored 95 percent and above marks. Asmita Gupta and Ananya Kumari were the school toppers in science stream while Anushka Kumari bagged 96.4 percent in Commerce. Director of Ayyappa Public School, S S Mahapatra said “all the schools have done wonderful results this year”.

Students of another prominent school Chinmaya Vidyalaya have also performed well. 20 students in Chinmaya secured above 95 percent marks while 156 students have scored 90 percent and above marks. Astha a student of Arts stream scored 98.4 percent is the school topper. Sanskar and Arup Mahatha bagged 98.2 percent which is the highest in science stream in the school. Ram got the highest 98 percent in commerce stream.

In Adarsh Vidya Mandir, as many as eight students have scored 95 percent and above marks while 21 students obtained above 90 percent. Alok Ranjan who achieved 97 percent in science stream is the school topper. Meanwhile, Shrishti Kumari scored 97.4 percent in commerce.

There were 35 students in MGM Higher Secondary School who scored 90 percent and above marks. Richa Nayan is the school topper bagging 96.8 percent in science stream while Khushi Modi scored 96.2 percent in commerce, as stated in press release.

Meanwhile, the students of DAV Public Schools, Holy Cross School, BSL-run-Schools, Pits Modern School, Gomia, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Crescent Public School, Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Bokaro Public School and others have also scored well, said sources.

It is mentioned that, this year, the CBSE 12th results have been prepared in an alternative way as board exams could not be held this year due to surge in COVID-19 cases. The board had adopted an alternative assessment scheme to finalise the result.
