Bokaro: In a remarkable step towards cutting-edge medical diagnostics, Wellmark Hospital, situated in Naya Moad, proudly unveiled its latest addition: a cutting-edge 32-slice multi-detector CT scan machine. The grand inauguration ceremony took place on Sunday evening, marking a significant leap in healthcare technology. 
Dr. G. N. Jha, a revered medical practitioner in the city, had the honour of officially inaugurating the state-of-the-art machine, which hails from Japan. The occasion saw a gathering of esteemed medical professionals from the city, each expressing their delight and extending their congratulations to Wellmark Hospital for this pioneering achievement.
With this revolutionary CT scanner now operational, Wellmark Hospital is poised to revolutionise medical imaging and contribute significantly to enhanced patient care and medical research. Its multi-detector design empowers advanced quality scanning while significantly reducing radiation exposure and scan duration.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Satish Kumar, the Chairman of Wellmark Hospital, emphasised that the facility’s services would be accessible 24/7 to cater to the needs of the city’s residents. “With this step, Wellmark Hospital sets a new benchmark for diagnostic precision and patient safety,” said Dr Satish.
Dr. Anurag Agarwal, the Head of the Department of Wellmark Radiology, enthusiastically welcomed attendees, highlighting the machine’s capabilities. “The installation of this high-quality CT scanner opens avenues for renal, cerebral, peripheral, and other angiographic imaging, thereby expanding the hospital’s diagnostic capabilities to unprecedented levels,” he added.
