Bokaro: The Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) on Thursday observed World Quality Day with great enthusiasm and commitment. The event organised at the Ispat Bhawan complex and featured several prominent figures from the organisation. The Executive Director (Operations), B.K. Tiwari played a pivotal role by hoisting the quality flag and leading the attendees in taking the quality oath.
In addition to Tiwari, other key executives including Executive Director (Materials Management), Amitabh Srivastava and Executive Director (Personnel & Administration), Rajan Prasad graced the occasion with their presence. Chief Medical Officer Incharge (Medical and Health Services), BB Karunamoy and various Chief General Managers, Heads of Departments, senior officers, and personnel from different departments were also in attendance.
The message of the Director-in-charge for World Quality Day was eloquently conveyed by General Manager (Business Excellence) B Banerjee. Further, General Manager Incharge (Business Excellence), Amresh Sinha expounded on the theme of the day, “Realizing Your Competitive Potential.”
In his address, Executive Director (Operations) B.K. Tiwari underscored the paramount importance of quality and conveyed a powerful message, urging active participation from all to unlock the organization’s quality potential.
In addition to the main celebration at the Ispat Bhawan complex, B.K. Tiwari led quality flag hoisting ceremonies at separate locations within the organisation, further reinforcing the commitment to quality on this special occasion. The significance of World Quality Day was reiterated, and the quality oath was administered to uphold the principles of excellence and quality throughout the organisation.
