Bokaro: The Pentecostal Assembly School, Bokaro, organised an inspiring and informative Youth Parliament program on Monday. The event aimed to provide students with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the functioning of Parliament, the law-making process, and the democratic system. The event also creates awareness on democratic values, political awareness, and a spirit of active citizenship among students.
Students from the Faculty of Arts participated in a parliamentary-style debate on the topic: “Should Hindi be made the national language ?” Students presented convincing arguments for and against. During the session, they shared their views on important issues related to the Constitution, democracy, and linguistic diversity.
This Youth Parliament provided students with an excellent opportunity to understand contemporary issues, critical thinking, and multiple perspectives. Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad said that such events are very important in building future leadership and developing responsible citizens.
