Bokaro: St. Xavier’s School conducted an invigorating cross-country running competition on Saturday. The event was inaugurated by the school’s principal, Father Arun Minj, S.J.

Eagerly participating in the race were students from the secondary section, encompassing classes 4th to 7th. Class IV and V students raced for one kilometer, while class VI and VII students covered a distance of one and a half kilometers.
The program, presided over by Sister Bensi, Vice Principal of the Secondary School, also featured the school’s sports teachers, Shashi Shekhar and Amrit Lata Sinha. Carmel House secured the first position, followed by Loreto House in second place and Loyola House in third.
Noteworthy participants in the competition included Leon, Aniket, Ankit Kumar Singh, Arnav Prakash, Prakhar Kashyap, Rivka Sionna Tirkey, Anshika Patra, Aadya Gyan Sen, and Rachel Suzanna Tirkey, all demonstrating outstanding performances.
The event fostered a sense of camaraderie as teachers and students united to support and encourage each other. The program concluded with a motivational speech from the Principal, applauding the efforts of all participants and extending congratulations to the winners, thus ending the day on an inspiring note.
