Tree plantation drive enriches environmental commitment at GGSESTC Bokaro


Bokaro: Guru Gobind Singh Educational Societies Technical Campus (GGSESTC), located in Kandra, Chas, Bokaro, witnessed a dedicated tree plantation initiative aimed at bolstering environmental conservation efforts. Various species including Jamun, Sheesham, Neem, Gulmohar, and Koynar were carefully planted during this significant event. 

The program saw active participation from esteemed personalities such as Rotary Club President Mahesh Gupta, Secretary Harpal Singh, Hardeep Singh, Anil Kumar Trehan, and other club officials. Additionally, Arun Prasad Varnwal, Vikas Ghoshal, Rajendra Prasad Verma, Deepak Kumar, Prof. Sumit Kumar Pandey, Prof. Sushma Kumari, Prof. Apoorva Sinha, Gurmel Singh, Kumar Rishabh, along with enthusiastic volunteers from Green Army and NSS contributed to the success of the event.

Tarsem Singh, Chairman of the institute, Surendra Pal Singh, Secretary, and Prof. (Dr.) Priyadarshi Jaruhar, Director, expressed their delight at the proactive participation of students. The institute has a tradition of promoting tree plantation among students, emphasizing the importance of environmental stewardship and sustainability.
