Bokaro: On a bright Tuesday morning, Usha Automobiles, a distinguished retail establishment operating under the aegis of the India Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), organised a jubilant celebration to mark the 77th Independence Day of the nation.
The atmosphere was charged with an infectious enthusiasm that radiated from both the staff and the patrons who gathered at the USHA Petrol Pump adjacent to the Bokaro Airport.
The customary raising of the tricolour, a symbol of India’s hard-fought freedom, was accompanied by a remarkable twist this year. Usha Automobiles, known for their innovative approach, decided to add a flavorful dimension to the celebration by organising a Dosa Party.
Proprietor of USHA Petrol Pump, Utpal Mukherjee said “this gastronomic gesture aimed to unite the joy of indulgence with the pride of independence”. Patrons arriving at the USHA Petrol Pump were pleasantly surprised to find themselves treated to a delectable serving of dosas, a traditional South Indian dish that symbolises the diversity and unity of the nation.
The team at Usha Automobiles executed the celebration with meticulous attention to detail. The tricolour fluttered majestically against the backdrop of the clear blue sky, as Team Usha proudly hoisted it to full mast. Their spirited demeanor and radiant smiles exuded a deep-seated sense of patriotism and honor, reflecting the collective sentiment of being an Indian on this significant day.
The event was more than just a celebration; it was a manifestation of unity and gratitude, said Mukherjee.
