Coinciding with the UN-designated International Day of Families on May 15th, ESL employees embarked on a mission to spread happiness among the residents of the Old Age Home. Embracing the values of family and community, the visit aimed to foster intergenerational bonds and highlight the significance of nurturing a caring society.
Established in 2019, the Baba Baidyanath Jan Seva Samiti Aashram serves as a haven for elderly individuals who find themselves neglected or without familial support. With a mission to provide shelter and care for the elderly in need, including those facing destitution or abandonment, the NGO resonates deeply with ESL’s commitment to social responsibility.
During the visit, ESL employees engaged the residents in lively games and heartfelt conversations, bringing moments of joy and companionship to their lives. The initiative received overwhelming appreciation from both the employees and the elderly residents, with plans for future visits already underway.
Furthermore, ESL employees generously donated essential items such as dry rations, hygiene products, clothing, and toiletries, ensuring the comfort and well-being of the residents for months to come. These contributions, gathered through the collective efforts of the “V FOR SOCIETY” volunteers, exemplify the spirit of compassion and solidarity ingrained within the ESL community.
