Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) management has begun efforts to fill vacancies in Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) in order to strengthen the health care system. This will be done in phases. Initially, BGH will focus on strengthening its Radiology department, which faces a shortage of radiologist and sonologist.
BGH, a 910 bedded multi-specialty hospital is operated by SAIL-Bokaro Steel Plant. It is one of the biggest hospital in Jharkhand with about two dozen functional medical departments.
