Bokaro: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), in collaboration with Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), distributed free battery-operated tricycles to 42 differently-abled individuals. The special camp was held on June 24 at Asha Lata Viklang Vikas Kendra. The event witnessed the presence of BSL Director-in-Charge Birendra Kumar Tiwari, CSR Senior Manager N.K. Tripathi, and officials from BSL, ALIMCO, and Asha Lata Kendra.
A Step Toward Inclusion and Mobility
Speaking on the occasion, Tiwari emphasised BSL’s commitment to social upliftment beyond steel production. He said the tricycles will improve mobility and foster self-reliance among the beneficiaries, helping integrate them into mainstream society. Asha Lata Director Mr. B.S. Jaiswal highlighted the organisation’s ongoing efforts. The program included tricycle distribution by senior officials and heartfelt thanks from the beneficiaries.
