Bokaro: The students of Class XI and XII from the Arts Faculty organised a Youth Parliament program at Pentecostal Assembly School on Wednesday. The event provided students with an immersive experience of a parliamentary session. The main topic for discussion was, “Should reservation continue ?” Through this, students had the opportunity to debate and discuss matters of national importance.
Students Share Insights on Democracy and Parliamentary Traditions
During the session, students discussed the importance of democracy, emphasising the role of youth as future democratic citizens. The Youth Parliament aimed to familiarize students with parliamentary traditions and values. Chief Guest and Principal Applaud the Students’ Efforts
The chief guest, Philman Bilang, District Development Manager (NABARD), praised the students for their talent and acknowledged the significance of Youth Parliament in educating the youth about parliamentary values. Principal Karuna Prasad lauded the students’ confidence and hard work, emphasizing the importance of nurturing democratic values in future leaders.
