3,500 children receive medical examination at DPS Bokaro’s ‘Arogyam’


Bokaro: Delhi Public School Bokaro conducted an extensive health check-up campaign ‘Arogyam’ in the school to inspire students towards a healthy lifestyle and take care of their health. The camp concluded today with the health examination of the teachers. 

Dentist Dr. Tulika Singh, Medical Officer, Community Health Centre, Chas Dr. Shreya Singh, Medical Officer Dr. Arvind, Audiologist Sumit Ranjan, Dental Surgeon, Sadar Hospital Dr. Shweta Minz, Assistant Optometrist Mantosh Kumar and Dental Assistant Mahesh Kumar conducted health examinations of the children and gave them appropriate guidance.

They examined children’s ears, throat, eyes, nose and teeth along with children’s blood pressure, weight, and oxygen levels.

This camp was organized in co-ordination of the Manager, Bokaro Sadar Hospital- cum- Epidemiologist Mr. Pawan Srivastava. Approximately 3,500 students from primary and senior classes, along with teachers, took the benefit of the camp.

Dr. Shreya said that children need to be vigilant about their health and conduct regular health check-ups. Dr. Tulika explained that irregular eating habits can lead to various health problems in children and awareness is necessary among children and their parents.

Principal, DPS Bokaro, Dr. A.S. Gangwar mentioned that ‘Children are the future of the country and the dream of healthy India is only possible with healthy children.’ He extended his gratitude to all the doctors and health workers for their co-operation in the success of the camp. he also felicitated the medical team.
