Bokaro: Airport Authourity of India (AAI) on Friday evening posted photos and shared the status of ongoing development work of Bokaro Airport on it’s official facebook account. The post is drawing huge attention of residents here. Delay in coming of airport is a growing concern for the people.
The FB post of AAI mentioned: Bokaro to get ready for civil flight operations, development work is underway! Presently managing non-scheduled flights, once civil ops start, and airport will connect the steel city to Patna & Kolkata under RCS-UDAN. AAI has undertaken development work of BokaroAirport at Rs 46 crores.
Project work includes construction of terminal building with 300 passenger peak hour capacity along with strengthening and re-carpeting work of runway, apron and taxi track for ATR-72 aircraft.
