Bokaro: Shri Ayyappa Public School in Sector-5 hosted a grand ceremony on Saturday to recognise and honor the achievements of 150 outstanding students from 40 schools in Bokaro. The event marked the school topper felicitation ceremony of Milestone 2023, organized by Dr. Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex Bokaro.
Dignitaries from the district extended their best wishes to the students for a promising future. The Chief Guest, Deputy commissioner, Bokaro, Kuldeep Chowdhary, was presented with a shawl and a memento as a token of gratitude. The ceremony concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.
Esteemed guests, including Sahodaya’s Vice President cum Principal of GGPS, Somen Chakraborty, Principal of DPS, Bokaro, A S Gangwar, MGM Principal, Fr Reji C Varghese, Principal, Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Suraj Sharma, Pentecostal Assembly School, Dr. DN Prasad, and Director of Ayyappa Public School, S S Mahapatra applauded the efforts of the honoured students and emphasised the importance of continuous excellence.
The felicitation ceremony inspired a sense of accomplishment among the 10th and 12th board toppers from various schools, fuelling their determination to forge ahead. The event witnessed the participation of students from around forty schools.
Gangwar praised the present and past students for their dedication and expressed confidence in their ability to serve society. The Pentecostal Assembly School showcased vibrant performances, including yoga dances and a mesmerising Ganesh Vandana, to uplift the students’ spirits.
The ceremony aimed to infuse new vigour into the students’ academic pursuits. It concluded with heartfelt wishes for a bright and prosperous future, encouraging students to strive diligently and express gratitude for the opportunities that lie ahead.
