Bokaro: The Zonal Athelete Meet 2023 was conducted on 3rd October 2023 at Denobli CMRI. The competition was divided into 2 categories for Boys and Girls, which was furthermore divided into 3 different categories according to the participants’ age i.e. Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19. 
A total of 12 schools consisting of DNS CMRI, DNS FRI ,DNS Koradih ,DNS Maithon, DNS CTPS, DNS Bhuli, DNS Sindri, Carmel School Dhanbad, Carmel School BTPS, Carmel School Digwadih, St. Xavier’s School Bokaro Steel City and Loyola School Taldanga participated in this zonal meet.
Gliding through the tough competition St. Xavier’s School B.S.City backed the First Prize with a total of 140 points. This feat was achievable due to the hardwork of the students like Arvind Soren (Under-19 Boys), Sneha (Under-19 Girls), Shubham Gope (Under-17 Boys), Ria Raj (Under-17 Girls), Aman Kumar (Under-14 Boys) and Garima Shresth (Under-14 Girls), who contributed many points by winning events like 800m, 400m, 200m, 100m, 80m hurdles, high jump, long jump, discus throw, javelin throw etc. as well as the games teachers Mr.Shashi Shekhar and Ms.Amrit Lata.
On the success of the competition the Principal Father Arun Minz SJ congratulated the participants and appreciated their sportsmanship.
