Bokaro: Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro celebrated the enthralling Biennial House Function of Ganga , Jamuna and Raavi House “Sangam” on Saturday evening. The program, with the theme “Shrishti aur Drishti,” aimed to showcase the harmonious blend of creativity and perspective.
The event was graced by Chief Guest, Priyadarshi Alok IPS, SP Bokaro. Distinguished Principals from various schools across the city were also present to witness the celebration.

The program commenced with the presentation of saplings symbolizing the commitment of the school towards environmental preservation and awareness.
The lighting of the lamp evoked a sense of spirituality. The audience was greeted with a mesmerizing welcome song “Padharo Mhare Desh”. Ganga House Wardens delivered the welcome address, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries and participants for their presence.
The program continued with the orchestra presentation showcasing the passion for music followed by a captivating dance performance, portraying the beauty and grandeur of rain. Students mesmerised the audience with the dance drama centered around the theme of social media.
The performance shed light on the impact of social media on society and encouraged reflection on responsible usage. Jamuna House Wardens apprised the gathering with the achievement scroll.
The soul-stirring song performance titled “Mai Taiyaar Hoon” and the powerful dance symbolising the element of fire by the tiny tots left the audience awe-inspired while the senior students conveyed a powerful message through their poignant dance performance highlighting the issue of child labour. “Zenith” the quarterly compendium was released on the occasion.
The Chief Guest, Priyadarshi Alok (IPS), SP Bokaro, addressed the audience with words of wisdom and inspiration. He emphasized the significance of education and the role it plays in shaping the future generation.
He lauded the school’s commitment to providing holistic education and fostering a nurturing environment for its students which was eloquently portrayed throughout the evening.
Dr. A.S.Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro shared inspiring words, emphasizing the importance of creativity, collective effort, and the pursuit of excellence.He urged parents to spend quality time with children understanding their needs in the spirit of open communication.
